Dancers should arrive at the studio 15 minutes prior to audition time for registration and photos. The audition process will include warm ups, a demonstration of specific dance moves, and a performance of a routine that will be taught to each group. Comfortable dance attire and jazz shoes are recommended.

Being a member of a Diverse Elements Dance Company requires a special commitment of time and effort for the dancers and their families. Dancers must take a specific set of company classes and are required to take a minimum of three (3) Ballet classes each week. Company groups will compete several times during the year and there will be mandatory extra rehearsals for those events. There are also additional costs to consider. Competition fees can range from $50 - $200 and costuming for competition numbers can average around $95.
